Are the plastic lines the same on a S4 as the S5? I'm thinking they're not since they use a different pump, but I've never looked at them closely enough. I went to the dealer today, and they want $32 a piece for new ones. I'm not paying $130 for new lines. I'll just find some used ones. I thought about just going to premix, but will the stock ECU have an error code if I unplug the MOP?

On My S4 I was using fuel line that was made for model aircraft, it worked alright before I lost the motor (not do to lines, the motor was old and tired).

They are probably different.



Mazdatrix or mazdaformance will have them for around 100+s/h



If you have an S5 you can't unplug the MOP without doing something to fool the ECU into thinking that it is still there. Doing that is in no way easy some guys tried but never got it to work 100% well.



Pre-mix is a good thing that you can use in addition to your MOP system.(I personally don't like the MOP system but I trust the 787B )



Try finding small enough line from another application. Just be sure they can take oil 24/7

they are different, but you can prolly get em to work. i think the pump sits a little further forward

Will the car not run properly without the MOP plugged in? Will the ECU go into some kind of limp home mode? I couldn't care less if it just throws a code but still runs OK. If anything, I'll just plug the MOP in and just ziptie it to something. Or will it sense the lack of oil and throw a code?

the mop has to be plugged in, but you can just tie it out of the way if you want
