alright, i have recently aquired $4000 and i can either put it into the body and paint or into the engine. i have decided to put it into the engine so its a total sleeper with a rough body and crazy engine. i know this is a huge thing to ask but i was just wonderin if u could share ur knowledge. The problem is that i have no clue where to start. i was think maybe gettin a cosmo engine imported but than again my 87 t2 has a fairly new engine and i will be tearing it down and rebuilding it anyway. well i was just wonderin if u guys could tell me what to do to the engine and beefin up the trans. i would like to get at least 300 whp and have it reliable. thanks in advance guys.

 

i say tear down the block, port and rebuild, think about a hybrid turbo, and get a standalone. 300whp shouldn't be too hard after that.

 

sell the t2 and get an fd

 

or get a full to4! and an ecu, 300rwhp can be done on the stock motor

 

i say if youre gonna keep it 3mm seals and porting, with a haltech and a larger turbo. do you have emissions laws where you live?

 

nope, i dont have emissions out here, hehehe. how much do u think it would cost to have my engine rebuilt and have it ported?
