Hello, i am considering buying a 1990 rx7 turbo II. it looks absoutly mint and the orgional owner is the person i am considering buying it from. the only mods are a racing beat intake, exhaust, and plug wires. Its actully amazeing ... the condition of this car is unbeliveable.



i test drove the car, seems to run great. will not rev past 6500 in first gear though, but its not like its hitting a rev limiter - it just kind of fades off. Also, it shut off once before it began to idle correctly. It went to 2000 rpm and the under 1000rpm when working correctly.



I want to use the car as a daily driver for the summer, it has 146XXX kms on it. Which is alot for a turbo rotary right? If i buy it, it will be daily driven, autoxed a bit, and it will see the drag strip. do you think it can stand up to this kind of duty? gas mileage doesn't bother me. but i do not want to have to rebuild/swap it until next winter.



I realy like the car.... the sound is like nothing i have ever heard before.but like i said, it will be daily driven in the summer and i dont know about the 146XXX kms on the orgional motor.
