I finally got around to pulling off my oil pan off of the engine from the AE, and in the bottom of the oil pan I found a bunch of metal shavings. The metal looks like it is copper, maybe brass. What could this metal come from? I'm sure it has something to do with the engine failure. I just would like to find out if it was the cause of the failure, or a result of the failure. Anyone got any ideas? Here are a few pics...

Holy ****! If that's the case when you tear your engine apart I don't think their will be any staitionary gear left. LOL That's a lot of shavings man.
