Hey yall! My first post here!. Today I'm going to check out an 87 turbo that has some strings attatched. I am yet to see/drive the car so I am still in the dark, but have a few questions before I go look at it. I've already read the buyers guide on voodoobox which had some great info.

So here's what I do know, looking at the carfax the last reported mileage was 99k miles in 2004 and its had 2 registered owners. The car currently is up to 153k miles and has 2008 registration stickers. The seller said he found it in a barn covered in dust and had mold in the interior. According to the seller the gas tank was full when he found it (gonna take that one with grain of salt). Overall the white paint looks good with the "mazda" and "turboII" logos peeling but still clearly visible. The interior looks incredibly clean for its age with minimal wear on the seats. Due to the seller mentioning mold I will be removing every ounce of carpet if I purchase the car.

Thats all the details I can think of right now, Ill report back after I see and drive it, but just wanted to know if the problems already present make the car not even worth dabbling in.

He wants 3500, I was going to try to offer 2000 and maybe max out at 2500, would it even be worth that?
