Yes I have and the engine "should" take a 100 shot w/o losing too much of its life expectancy, I even have a place for the bottle,

But I want to put some road time on the car and get a feel for it first. It has lots of hours on it (engine) but 0 miles.. The rims are wrapped in mismatched tires that won't hold air (so I could push it from here to there) so I haven't gotten to drive it yet!?!? The wheel and tires, as well as the new top, are a few weeks away so i should be able to button everything else up and have a runner by late spring, then I can think on MO POWER, lol.

Very nice indeed. I ditto the nice looking paint and body. Was the car originally black or was the engine bay resprayed? If repainted, is it a flat or gloss black?

Sidebar: Whenever a fertilizer or lawn maintainance company solicits me for their business I always ask them for a list of every single chemical they use. For some reason they never get back with me? :]

I believe the car was a "blaze red" (mazda factory color?) origionally. It had some damage and a shitload of dents EVERYWHERE, so a repair/repaint was a necessity (to me) and guards red is a swwweeeeet color!

The paint co. wanted waaaay too much loot to do the engine compartment, so I had them just mask it off so I could do it myself. I found an overstock w/ one of my paint suppliers of what some would call an acrylic lacquer, I know acrylic lacquer wtf, but the stuff works so well, high gloss, quick dry and touch-up is virtually invisible.

It's a pre voc product which is not only unavailable, but totally illegal. It was alot of work, and some of it had to be manipulated for the heat issues (exhaust and the like) but the results, I think, speak for themselves. Now time as they say will tell on the durability issues.

in reference to the sidebar, (not yelling @ you) FERTILIZER COMPANIES AND THE PPL WHO APPLICATE IT CAN KISS MY ENTIRE ***, IF THE BASTARD WHO DID IT READS, THIS I'M GOING TO OWN YOUR KIDS' KIDS'' ASSES BIIIITCH!!!!
