ok, I needed (I was told I needed) the GXL MC/valve/booster, so I got a used one, and installed it. Now it leaks like crazy, I have to top it off every day.

1. Is it worth the savings getting another used one? or should I just buy a new one?

2. are used MC's destined to fail within a short time?

3. If it's leaking at the booster, is the MC the only thing I need?

So I got my MC yesterday. Do I need anything else to mate it to the booster and resevoir? Does the resevoir just shove into the rubber grommets?

they have to be mated together, check with the hayes or workshop manuals. You have to check the clearances and make sure it's within tolerance.

Make sure you bench bleed it properly before installing it.
