What is a decent replacement for the stock leading coil on 2nd Gen. Turbo-II without spending a ton of money?

Can these things get weak & if so, you do you diagnose?

remove neg battery terminal. remove plug wires from coil. test for resistance between two terminals. should be between 0.02 to 1.0 ohms.any more or less is bad. as far as replacing them, you can pay big bucks for new, get used of of ebay, or replace coil and ignitor with an aftermarket ignition box( msd, crane, mallory, etc) and two coils. i would go for the latter. the more of mazdas exspensive electrical stuff you can eliminate, the more reliable your car will be.
