What is the proper and best way to lauch the TII? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

slip the clutch at 4500 rpm

or you can drop it at 4000 rpm, get wheel spin and hop, and risk breaking something

or you can use a mix of both, use the slip to get it going, and then drop it all the way.

yea i've got the best launches at about 3k but i've felt latly that, that isn't enough.... so i think i'm gonna start launching at about 4-4.5k

vosko 09-14-2003 09:10 PM

i tried today with turborotors car. best method was ride the clutch at 5k rpm then dump it zero hop and some spin but it spools the turbo nice!

1Revvin7 09-14-2003 09:13 PM

Just have enough power where you can be easy on the car, and BLAST through 2nd/3rd like no tommorrow.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Thats my philosophy

MazdaEnthused 09-14-2003 09:14 PM

that is a good philosophy indeed
