What is the proper and best way to lauch the TII? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png
slip the clutch at 4500 rpm
or you can drop it at 4000 rpm, get wheel spin and hop, and risk breaking something or you can use a mix of both, use the slip to get it going, and then drop it all the way. |
really? i get wheel hop droppin it at 3000, and i have stock n/a. feathering it does work best tho

yea i've got the best launches at about 3k but i've felt latly that, that isn't enough.... so i think i'm gonna start launching at about 4-4.5k
i tried today with turborotors car. best method was ride the clutch at 5k rpm then dump it zero hop and some spin but it spools the turbo nice!
Just have enough power where you can be easy on the car, and BLAST through 2nd/3rd like no tommorrow.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Thats my philosophy
that is a good philosophy indeed

**Slap** ouch..
There I did you the favor.. |
Dump at 5K worked the best for me. Only 6psi and bad shocks. I'm at 15 psi, no clutch, and still bad shocks, so I don't know.
Sweet sig
i'm gonna start trying 4-4.5k i think maybe i'll go to a parking lot and try diferant ways to launch
dumping works depending on your clutch and tires and suspension...........
I used to dump the clutch at 6500 on the street and take off with no wheelspin. I guess that's the magic of bad rear shocks and a $400 pair of tires.
yea my tires are so shot its not even funny... and my suspension seems to be fine... but i dont know what a normal good working t2 suspension feels like
