Ok, so I pulled my TB, UIM, TID, etc etc off...cleaned it all up, took the TB apart cleaned it all up, put it back together, and now it's working better..good. So I throw it all back on there...readjust the idle all the way down...

start the car...fires right up and shoots to 3K RPM before I kill it with the key cuz I dont want it going over 4K(new motor and all)...so why the hell does it jump like that? One time i let go up a lil more to 3400 or so and it dropped back down, then starting going up again..so i killed it...wtf is going on here...oh, and I'm back to running on one rotor(i'm not sure if the front rotor has ever run!)...i pulled the leading spark plug on the front rotor and its dry, pulled the trailing plug and it was soaked in rich fuel..at least this time its really soaked(i fixed my front injector problem)...we checked yesterday for a spark, and that checked out ok..so now I know the front rotor is getting fuel, spark, and i pulled the plug just to be sure i could hear 3 wooshes..which i did..

...could this all be a timing problem again??? why the hell does it keep jumping up like that..and its not gradual..its like i stomped my foot on it!...also, why wont my ******* front rotor combust every time!! grr..its a late night, started this at 11pm, its now 2am....

Have you removed the AWS? Have you done the tb mod?

I know when I did my manifolds, TB work and front cover job, when I first fired it would jump up to 3-4K and then stall after about 5-10 seconds. This happened several times until I got the right adjustment of the timing and idle adjust screw... now it starts and idles around 1200 for 30 seconds, then drops to 750 and stays there... no aws or emissions. I'm NA though

I guess I'll just keep playing with the timing...

I have no AWS, and I do have a modified TB. It has port/polish and the "TB MOD"...would that cause this 3K startup problem???

Just make sure the throttle plates are all the way closed so you cannot see any light through them, except the little hole in the primary plate. Make sure the throttle cable is messing anything up either. With the throttle cable off you should be able to kill the engine by closing the throttle.
