first and last time? Have you had to replace the ball joints on the front A arms yet?

what is the reason for saying S5's don't like BP?
Because my car runs like **** when I open my 6 ports, which happen to have a small bridge. Im sellign this motor to someone with a S4 as soon as I finish my SP motor. That should be 2-3 weeks at this rate though.

hrm, thats just one specific case, i'm not sure how conclusive that is as far as S5's hating BP's in general.

Are you wiring them open or just opening them at high rpm? safc or anything?

The problem is my afm gets maxed out before it gets into the powerband. S5's seem to have a problem with that. Ive seen small SP motors with bolt ons hitting 95% of the max reading on the afm. A s-afc or wont do any good because the computer isnt mapped for the airflow that a BP uses.

I have my ports wired closed now, running on 4 ports only...

MS, what do you think about using that BPed motor with a ECO/Manifold set-up like Pengaru? IDA might be better but the DCOE would allow you to have good low RPM since it still has port actuarotrs.

Sorry for digging this up.

I dont think it will work very well. The runner will be a problem. You have 2 ports, and DRASTICALLY different port timings sharing the same runner. The seperate pulses are going to interfere with each other in the runner, and reduce power, and I expect thats one of the main reasons my car ran like **** with the aux ports open.

I think to pull it off, you will need 6 seperate runners, and no less than 3 throttle bodies.

It would be simpler and make more power to take a 4 port, half bridge it, and set it up so the secondary ports open after a certain rpm.

First, I just dont care that much. Motors sold anyways, just waiting for the guy to collect the money. And my new motor is almost ready to go together. Second, I think the problem with the runners is more serious than the AFM.
