Well, I got my adapter for the 54mm (2 1/8") socket that fits the flywheel, borrowed an impact and busted the SOB off...it actually only took about 10minutes total, but I've been pouring on some liquid wrench and diesel for about a week to hopefully help it free up...two swift bumps(bump is an understatment) with a block of wood and it came off....

Next, I inspected it, and honestly...the flywheel looks to be in great shape. I cleaned it and checked for warps, hot spots, etc...nothing...looked very good. I got all the rust off and went ahead an installed it. Then I dug up( ) a nice CF DF clutch...threw that on, tightened everything down, and slid the block back into the corner of the garage until Sunday when I will be installing the oil pan, motor mounts, etc and HOPEFULLY dropping the lil bitch into the car

Not much else left to do, and I have everything else I need so I shouldn't have to wait and put the project off too much more...I still need oil cooler lines, I had to cancel an order due to lack of funds(damn student loan payments)....

yea, it was pretty horribly rusted...but under all that rust was a nice clean, unfucked up flywheel, lol...

Last pic for now...hey, anybody know where I can a new sensor and that other lil brass thingy that goes under the oil filter? lol, pardon my lame terms, but I dunno what they are called

Yea, me too! Thanks for tip w/ the block of wood, lol..

If the CF DF does go out, I'm going puck all the way and I'll probably swap the flywheel out at that time too, but right now, it's almost been exactly a year since the car was legally on the road, and I just want to drive it again...as long as the clutch holds for 1K miles...I'll be happy

That's an odd place to put the water temp sensor...I figured since it was near the oil filter, it'd have to do w/ oil...so what is the other little sensor right below the fitler for? oil temp?
