Jdm Turbo Ii Engine
if you get a good one there a cheap alternative to rebuilding the usdm engine, i believe i have seen them sell for about 700 to 800 bucks at a couple websites, the one moderator Vosko had 2 bad ones shipped to him after he installed them in his TurboII, correct me if im wrong?
Yeah, it's a gamble.. But as far a any difference.. There shouldn't be any internally.. Just bolt on stuff.. Like the smog crap might be missing which would give more HP, but that can be done on a USDM engine too..
OK, thanks.
Here is a follow up though. I know that the turbo's changed on the 13b between 88 and 89, that said, how can a person tell which motor is which. (like i guess what the turbos look like or something, or engine #'s?)
