You would only need extra piping if you wanted to mount the filter up in front of the radiator for colder air. Check out the 2nd gens FAQs section. I did a quick writeup for NA performance...

This is no joke, very good advice. I went as far as buying most of the spendy **** (turbo, intercooler, new ecu etc) when I said fu$k this. Ill just finish the N/A car out and look for a turbo chassis which I was planning all along. Only now im further down the road by having alot of parts to slap on once i find one.
