this is crap. i took the thing to get it tested and it worked. my dad and i werent thinking so we didnt think hey its working with the old solenoid, so we bought a new solenoid put it on there and then put the piece of crap back on the car. well i got it all hooked and everything and tried to start it and it didnt work. everything was hooked up right and everything. The starter actually is smoking out of a little white plastic thing that is right by the wire from the solenoid. we tried to hook it up directly to the battery and that didnt work either. it worked at auto zone why not on the car??/ please help it sucks to get a ride from your mom everywhere. i feel like bigtime.
How are your battery terminals?

the terminals are great. the volt meter says that its getting 12v. i took the starter and had it tested. it did the same thing at the store that it did on the car so i was happy. At the store it smoked out of the starter so he said that the starter was bad. Ok thats fine with me as long as i know what the deal is. We took the starter to a place called well it doesnt really matter what it was called but they rebuild alternators and starters. They said they would have it done by prob 330. So im going back down there then to get it and then i will put it on and my car will work. (hopefully)
