I bought an 87 Turbo II about three months ago after modding out a 91 Honda Accord and making it a nice little sleeper. I got bored with that and now I have this pretty little Turbo II that I LOVE but dont know where to start modding. I already have plans in the works for an open intake and a three inch exaust from the turbo flange all the way back. So, I begin with question number one: How many pounds of boost can my stock turbo handle before and after increasing my fuel rate? And can I bump up my boost pressure a little bit before I upgrade the fuel? I know that what I really neede is an upgraded turbo and engine management system, but I got 2 kids and a lean budget right now. The turbo's gunna hafta wait. Any help you can offer a newbie will be great.

I think theres a FAQ in the FAQ section about what mods in what order seem best.

upgrade the fuel first to play it safe, especially if yer tight on money, this will help keep you from having to rebuild it.

rotary's dont like detonation, it's not like a supra thats for sure

upgrade fuel system and get an FCD at least.

Don't go beyond 10psi without fuel mods, and not past like 7 without an FCD. Don't go past 12psi with the stock intercooler, and don't go past 14-15 on the stock turbo.
