Ok, so i poured some gasoline in a spray bottle and misted my entire engine bay in gas and jumped the wire. I tried turning on the car and before i could get out to see what had melted or whatever i had an engine fire. Also the fire extinguisher i had in the car was dead so the fire ravaged almost all my wiring before i could put it out. Basically it comes down to this now, i need a new wiring harness. How much do these usually cost?

My car won't send fuel to the motor at all. My brother took out the entire EGI relay and when you power it with a neg and pos, it makes the pop sound, and then the other plug is supposed to show continuity, and it doesn't at all. Could that be THE reason why no fuel will even be sent to my motor so that it CAN start? I don't get it though because it worked like 4 days ago, and now it won't! I just don't get it!!!
My brother keeps telling me to replace that entire EGI relay, but he ALSO told me to buy new spark plugs even though the ones in there were only 3 days new, and there went $31 down the drain. What gives?
