aight guys, i just changed out my dampner and for the first 5-10 miles it was running fine.. i parked it over night and now everytime i start my fc the rpms shoot right up to 4K and wont rev down.. if i hit the gas itll rev up but then it goes up to like 5K and idles there.. i checked my butterfly plates they arnt stuck open i wasted a whole can of carb cleaner looking for vac leaks and i couldnt find one .. i adjusted the throttle cable , tps screw , and the idle control screw still nothing ... i was thinking maybe a bad tps but autozone wants 150 bucks for it so i want to make sure that is the problem .... thanks for any help you might beable to give

hey man i sorta had the same problem and it was the inake manifold gasket i would check that because a new gasket only costs about 20 bucks from adavnced auto and if you want to go cheaper then that you can always use red rvt sealent
