Idle Problem on 88 FC Vert

Ok here is my problem. I just started getting theis eratic idle between 750 and 900 RPMs, but only when the car is at operating temp. It idles at a steady 800 when under operating temp. Which components could be at fault? the BAC is unplugged and i do not have an airpump. Could it be that the mass air flow meter could be on its way out?
