I put everything back together after initial compression test, The turns over starts up and then dies immediately. The only thing that I did wrong was pull the wrong fuse for EGI(probably fowled out trailing plugs). Would this cause my car not to stay running? Does anyone have any ideas? I appreciate all the help you guys can give me?

What all did you do? Just a compression check? Did you only remove the plugs and EGI fuse? Did you try un-flooding it?

I tried to unflood it but it didn't work. Maybe I need to take the plugs out, but i'm not going to mess with it until tomorrow.

I got the car running but it doesn't stay running unless I keep my foot on the gas pedal. Can anyone tell me whats going on or, at least point me in the right direction? Thanks you guys have been a big help so far.

Could you have knocked a vacuum hose loose? Mine wouldn't hold an idle when I forgot to put 1 hose back on.

mine wouldn't hold idle after my compression test, but i had 0,0,0 and 70, 70, 70. and alot of problems, including an obviously blown motor. good luck, it's probably just flooded.

how was the compression???

ok, I checked all the vaccuum hoses and didn't find any that were loose( kinda hoped that was it but no luck there). I also know that its not flooded, because it starts, and as long as I keep my foot on the gas pedal it stays running somewhere around 3000 but anything less than that and it dies. Please help me, my car is causing me to loose my mind.
