[quote name='89 Rag' date='Jun 1 2005, 11:18 PM']I realize it doesn't work on all wheels but sometimes a plumber's pipe wrench and a jack handle for extra leverage can break the locking lugnuts loose.

Whatever trick you use - a shot of "PB Blaster" often helps.

alittle offtopic: any tricks to get the screws out of the brake rotors? i raped them with pb blaster and they refuse to come out.

Baldy 06-03-2005 03:08 PM

impact screwdriver, or just drill them out.

drftk1d 06-03-2005 03:36 PM

i dont have a impact screwdriver or drill :(

i'll find someone that does. the rotors are junk anyway (got new ones)

i am a little late in this topic baldy, but I have a snap-on lockinglug nut remover, would be a pain in the ass to get to you, but we can figure something out.

Baldy 06-04-2005 10:32 AM

cool, I appreciate that. When I get off my lazy ass and try a few things to get it off, I'll let you know what happens.

If all else fails for the rotor removal use a dremel with a grinding bit on it and grind the head off, after the rotor is off you can usually just take off whats left off with pliers
