I seem to remember incinerating a wasp nest that got me stung one day using that trick

We could videotape that and sell it.
that's a good way to sponsor the forum $$$$$
Hrmm. I could use the cash to raise money AND to buy a new header system...

if you want to see if your gaskets are good get a can of carb cleaner and spray it around the engine if idle evens out you have a vacuum leak.
It seems that my carb cleaner is so strong, once I placed carb parts in a small plastic bottle (pill bottle) and sprayed some carb cleaner in the bottle. A few seconds later the bottle was melting down. Since then I don't spray that stuff anywhere without being sure that nothing is going to melt down in its way. :newburn:

I've heard we can do the same test using propane with a small hose, do you think it's possible? ???

I've seen that too. As far as I know it'll work just the same as using carb cleaner.
