Just curious where you guys with the hybrid turbos had them done. Is there a DIY kit and what did it $. I'm testing the waters for upgrading my turbo but haven't decided which direction I want to go. Thanks in advance.

They convert a Series 5 Turbo into a hybrid T-04E and port the wastegate. 3 years ago it cost me $600. Only use the Waco office.

Well I emailed Majestic to see what they could do. Did they give you a choice of wheels or anything? Is there really a downside to a hybrid vs. a straight To4? Cause that sounds like a good price to up the boost. Thanks

I had a hybrid T-04E on my TII. It made 242 RWHP at 9 PSI and ran a 13.06 in the 1/4 @ 10PSI. I daily drove it at 7 PSI and it was a nice fast spooling turbo. There is virtually zero lag.

It is still working to this day. Mazdadrifter had it in his TII and just sold it to Phinsup.

I am not sure if Majestic will offer a choice of wheels. I suggest you call them and talk to them. They are really cool there and love to talk to you and make sure you get what you want.

I will PM you 2 names to have them look up in their records. If you want to copy my setup or my friends. We both loved that turbo.
