I am running around the net and I have found everything I need for a 5 lug 4 piston caliper swap on my base model 2+2 87 rx7. Well... all but the 5 lug hubs... I have searched junk yards, kragen auto parts, and auto zone but I am turning out nothing. Nada. Zilch. I am in some need of direction. Any ideas?

Post a for sale ad in the classifieds of this and other RX-7 forums, if you haven't already.

and now stoopid question no# 2 is there a point for upgrading the rear brakes to 4 piston or can you even do so? Because If I am doing the front from 4 lug to 5 I may as well do all of them. Don't you all think?

I am doing the swap from my 88 GXL (now parts car) to a base 87 and have all the parts. Nobody mentions the rotor dust shields, they are larger also. The rear brakes have single piston calipers but have vented rotors (haven't set one on the other but look larger) and the calipers are wider to handle the thicker rotor.

What the vented rotor? Runs cooler less likely to warp with hard use.
