I'm trying to get an idea on what the max amount of HP for a N/A is?

I've seem a 260 HP PP Motor posted on the net, and just found a guy with a 225 HP N/A (Haltech equipted) This guy is running his motor in Multiport mode (firing all 4 550cc injectors at once). I like the idea of that.

As soon I get my injectors replaced I'm going to try that.

So 200 HP seems realistic?

Sure, you could probably squeeze 200 HP out of an N/A with the right porting, exhaust, etc., but why put that sort of money into it when you could transplant a turbo motor and have a much better platform for producing HP?

A good bridgeport with the right tuning, etc. should be good for 250-300 HP. A PP could probably yield 300-350 HP. Alot of the "old" numbers are for carbureted motors.

That sucks that you can't keep the stock EFI with those systems.

I'm sure that with a little custom work, you could keep the EFI. But them you would need a S-AFC to manage the fuel. But that wouldn't be a problem for dac, because he's got a haltech.

It can be done, but it won't be anywhere near as streetable as a similar power level with a turbo.
