You need a turbo upgrade, and fuel to support extra boost. However you go about it will determine cost.

I agree with Ronin. It is not going to happen on stock turbo. But a stage 1 hybrid will just make it.

Cheep way or right way is up to you.

http://bnrturbos.com/2ndGen.htm Pick one thats good for what you wanna do. I would go with a stage 2, more flexible. Incase you want a little more power in the future.

The best way to do fuel is an EMS, that way you have a good foundation for your engine, and future projects if you decide to go further.

300hp is real nice, but power is addictive.

But as you increase power you decrease gasmillage. 300RW is a respectable amount to me. Its enough to give you a rush when wanted and is still useable on a daily basis. Dont get me wrong id love to have a 400-600 hp beast but i think its a little over kill on power for a car thats driven around with traffic and stuff. How often do you get to use that much power. Also i want to make it reliable, which doesnt come cheap. So to money constrants too. its going to be a problem.

Right now the only mod i have is a intake and a mild street port. im guessing im sitting at around 220-230 and maybe 210 or so RWHP.

yea, i wouldn't use the term FWHP when referring to CRANK horsepower... might confuse people considering thats how you rate Front Wheel drive cars, lol...

Either way, I think I saw you say you'd like to keep it at 10psi... 300whp using 10psi wont happen, unless not under conditions of keeping a car streetable. To obtain 300whp at 10psi, you'd need a LARGE port, IE: large j-bridge or p-port... neither are great on gas or great in traffic.

300whp will take a larger turbo, EMS tuning, supporting fuel and ignition mods...and a good port job (street port would do). The rest will really come in with tuning... you will probably land closer to 14psi than 10, but it'll be ok....

An option you may want is go w/ a standalone EMS w/ different maps, then run a normal street-tuned map for daily driving, then simply switch maps to a track-tuned one if you want more power. Most good boost controllers can also switch between "high" and "low" boost settings quickly.
