I seriously need to get one!
Buy my TEC II. The ignition on the TEC II is great. It even starts a flooded motor.
:0 , who make TEC II, but isn't haltech the best standalone comp,+ has many tuners in US.

Electromotive makes the TEC II: http://www.getfuelinjected.com . It's a great system, but it's not really for beginners. My installation went fine, but I was lucky enough to get a defective one.:sigh: So I installed the Wolf 3D, and I don't feel like having any more down time with my car.

It's usually easier to find a tuner for the Haltech, and you should get good results. The TEC II can usually extract a little more power from the motor, but it may be tough for you to set up.

The Haltech E6K is about $1400 with the MAP sensor and harness, and it uses the stock ignition. The fully terminated harness makes the installation a breeze. The TEC II is about $2400, but it includes a really great ignition system. You have to make your own harness for the TEC II. Both systems are pretty easy to wire up.

I have afterburn also. The other problem I seem to have is that when I am accelerating hard, let off and then hit the gas lightly, it backfires. Anyone have any suggestions??

I've never had a problem with afterburn. I only have a RB exhaust on it though.

Thanks Vosko. I almost started replacing all the gaskets for the exhaust. I would have been pissed if I did all that work for nothing.
