Ummm, the bell housing on the NA tranny won't bolt up to the Turbo block.....

I have heard several people using the n/a tranny on jspec blocks... hm...

yes it will, the rotary berrhousing is the same from 74-02 (except fd and cosmo automatics), its the flywheel diameter thats different from turbo to na

Having seen the two tranny's side by side I can tell you the NA bellhousing is smaller then the T2 bellhousing.



I'm not saying it won't work, but it doesn't look a "plug and play" setup to me.

They bolt up fine, same bolt pattern . I have a jspec in my n/a with original driveline, I make sure not to be under boost during launch but I do drag race it, has held up fine so far. And I race alot, a couple times during the week and as many as 10-15 races during the weekend! Heh, when they will race me that is.

Like I say never tried to bolt them up, just seen them side-by-sade and know the bellhousing look diffferent.

Phins, I have Bolted my Pineapple Miata Tranny up to my TII Block IT WORKS!!!!

You just need the proper year NA flywheel andd istarter and its a bolt-in

Its a NA case with Miata gears inside. GUARENTEED TO HANDLE 300 HP!
