yeah when my FC was stock i shift at like 6 b/c yea u do lose power passed but it fun to show off to your friends about how high u can rev like me and my race port i ahve a motorcycle tack in it and we got it up to 13 and then we put a diffrent carb and now i can not get passed 9. but yea u have to know where you start to lose power at have fun.

Thanks! N/A the redline is 7k if I'm not mistaken, I just wanted to know if there was any harm in taking it up to 7.5 or even 8. I love the sound the rotary makes!

Leetheslacker 04-21-2007 11:47 PM

theres a fuel cut limiter at 8100...

ask me how i know.

j9fd3s 04-22-2007 11:09 AM

stock tach slows down @high rpms too, so 7500 on the tach is more like 6900rpms....
