Thumbs up

I have an 89 GTUs with a blown engine i picked this car up for $550 everything on this car is clean even the engine! but the engine is blown. I recently bought a a new To4b turbo and an 89 turbo ECU I'm looking at some new blow off valves and front mount intercoolers. There has to be alot of things i'm missing but what else will i need, and what must i do to turbo charge this engine after it is rebuilt?

Any help will be appreciated. Details Details Details Please!

first of all wrong section. Second you cant just strap a turbo to a na motor your going to need a turbo motor drivetrain wiring harness and ecu. basicly everything, you could go stand alone and save a lot of trouble with trying to find everything but it wont be cheap. Id quit looking at those other things right now.

Dont' do that to a GTUs, they are rare. Fix the engine, sell it for more and buy a TII.

don't, please dont. I'll give you a grand for the chassis as-is, use the cash and do what turborotor suggested.

please dont do it...its not worth it. ok lets put it this way. if you redo the motor in the GTUs you might get ie (just throwign **** out to give you an idea. what the diffrence would be) 4200. now remember i am just saying these prices just to give him a idea.

ok and with that 4200 you put 1600 for a new motor ok now bad. ok now converting it to a TII, motor, tranny, ecu, wire harness, driveshaft, rear axle. ect total with labor about 4500 then you could sell it for a max of about 4300 so you just lost 200.00 ok now please dont kill a GTUs.
