Horsepower Of A Stock Turbo Ii Motor
#4
ive got my dyno chart right here in front of me for my 87 turbo 2
now note that this is an old motor (compression is starting to suffer and hard to start)
122.6 HP at 6900 RPM
128.5 lb/tq at 4000 RPM
this is a stock motor with the HKS 50mm catback
and the stock airbox with NO filter in it
the power rose greatly when i had the injectores cleaned and blue printed but i dont know the actuall numbers

haha ya try owningthe car that everyone told you should be around 180 HP
although this was a mustang dyno and the guy running it Mike Ancas (wrote a book on 7s) said that mustang dynos read 10-15% lower than a other dynos but he said that he thinks that his numbers are a close to right as possible
p.s. the guy is hugly knowledgabe and a great driver in solo I and solo II racing if you want more info on his book let me know ill get it
