This is what i'm talking about..

OK. I know some will laugh at this..

I took pics today, I also had the car running (not while taking the pics) of the belt, and that one belt never touched the other pully. I am guessing it is off track, or is it suppose to be like that?

Like I said, I could be wrong about all this, but the way it's driving... espically when i turn a corner at a slow rate of speed, it just doesn't want to turn unless you push it.

Though, I'm not sure where that dipstick or whatever it is called is located at to see if I am low on fluid...?

where there is no belt, look at what would hold the belt in place. it would just slide right off. so im pretty sure no belt there

Well.. if that's NOT the problem, then why is it acting like there is no PS or it's not working at all?

Sorry but it looks wrong as to where it is placed... is all.

That pic is of the air conditioner not the PS. There isnt supposed to be a belt there

anyhow, turn your AC on and you will see that thing you said "no belt here" will spin, thats assuming your AC is working that is.

yah it looks fine so far. if you look at the upper pulley in that picture, that thing will have a little dipstick on it. make sure there is fluid in there

Is it?

Then i've been told wrong, that (not the top) but bottom was the PS?

wait, though i'm getting two answers in this thread.

1. it's not the PS rack

2. it is, but look up and you'll see the dipstick thing.

So which is it? I think I have been told wrong all this time?

TurboII - No, because I don't have a clue where it is...?

the upper pulley in your picture is the ps pump. it has a belt on it, so it cant be the belt thats wrong. so now you need to look at something else, so check to make sure it has oil in it. the dipstick is on top of the ps pump. it will have oil in it
