There are a whole lot of prior posts like this. Something about an ECU ground or dirty injectors...might try searching. Alot of people have that problem.

ECU replacement is the only way to get rid of it. Peroid.

Grounding things is supposed to help the transition when the secondaries come on.

it's not your injectors or your grounds! i have an 88 w/ the 6 port engine. the problem is with your 5 6 ports, the actuators arn't opening properly. what i did to fix them is i took them off and put some grease on the pistons to the actuators, haven't had a problem since. just do a search for 5 6 port actuators. it's a really easy fix, new ones from the dealer are expensive!

I had a similar problem with my car... hesitation was right around 3500 though.

What i did was quite simple.. loosen the temp sensor (behind the A/F Switch) Take the brown wire, splice into it. run a ground to the engine... replace the brown wire.. and BOOM!

My car didnt start. Kidding. It started fine... and it acctually worked for me.
