There are a whole lot of prior posts like this. Something about an ECU ground or dirty injectors...might try searching. Alot of people have that problem.

TPS adjustment also?

I have an 86 and it has done it ever since I bought.. its not the injectors though...

ECU replacement is the only way to get rid of it. Peroid.

Grounding things is supposed to help the transition when the secondaries come on. |
it's not your injectors or your grounds! i have an 88 w/ the 6 port engine. the problem is with your 5 6 ports, the actuators arn't opening properly. what i did to fix them is i took them off and put some grease on the pistons to the actuators, haven't had a problem since. just do a search for 5 6 port actuators. it's a really easy fix, new ones from the dealer are expensive!

I had a similar problem with my car... hesitation was right around 3500 though.
What i did was quite simple.. loosen the temp sensor (behind the A/F Switch) Take the brown wire, splice into it. run a ground to the engine... replace the brown wire.. and BOOM! My car didnt start. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png Kidding. It started fine... and it acctually worked for me. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png |
