Umm yes, but mostly at idol and low rpms... It shouldn't make much diffrence in the 3800 rpm up range...



you may want to change your fuel filter, but more than likely your going to have to get dirty and rip the upper intake manifold etc off to fix your problem..

yeah i am going to have to replace the fuel filter i havent done that since i had the car and is hard to take off the intake manifold on a t2. i noticed though at idle my car dont stay at a set rpm and it usually dies if i dont warm it up

welcome to the world of old cars. if its not one thing, it another. as much as i love fixing stuff on my car, i hate diagnosing the problem. tell me what's wrong, and i can fix it. figuring out what's wrong, that's the hard and fustrating part, especially when this is my daily driver.



an again, i have somehow managed not to study for my poli sci test. no surprise there.

If it still dose it make sure you're 6 port actuators are working rite. around 4k they open up like a 4 barrle carb, some times they stick and don't open causing the lag you're getting.

is there a way to fix the ports so they dont get stuck or do they have to be replaced

wire open your 5 and 6 ports, its in the faq sectio, but in any case, they are under you IAC VALVE, open them and put some twistie ties, hope this helps, if not USE THE FOKIN SAEARCH BUTTON! kidding, lol its defenately in the FAQ section, after i wired mine open, car keeps pulling after 4k hard, no hesitaion no slow after 6k i like it, and who cares about low end? if you want low end get a 5.slow

i stuck fuel injector cleaner in my car because i havent done it in awhile and i didnt have the hesitation for a whole day and a half and then today when i was going to work it started doing it again and i thought that was the problem. I have new injectors
