Ok I got Stinky as i call it about 4mnths ago. It hadnt run for 6 years do to starter going out. I dropped the gas tank and had it cleaned. Then replaced the fuel pump, starter, fuel relay, and a few other things. I got it running about 2 or 3 weeks ago and took it for a spin around the block (ran/drove Great no smoke nothing) and let it run for an hr or so, then shut it off. About 30min later nothing. Next morning starts and runs for 2min, and dies, then nothing. The following weekend Starts up with a little starter fluid and runs for 2hrs, then i shut off and 30min latter nothing once again. Now it crankes but cant get it to start. I checked the fuel psi and its low. Im really loosing the love for this car and Need help getting it on the road. Any Ideas Anybody????

Did you change the fuel filter also? I don't see it in your list.

A little history on the car? Number of miles on engine?

How do the plugs look?

Stinky? Does the car have a cat on it?

Mine did the same thing when i bought it. I got it for $350 because it would not start so i checked for spark, got it then fuel and had very low fuel pressure. I took the cap off of the fuel tank and screen was not dirty so i turned the key on and pump sounded weak. Before going nuts and replace it i added a good ground to the existing one and viola car fired right up and the owners face dropped but it was too late he signed the title already LOL drove it from his house.

My suggestion to you is check ground at the pump, make sure you getting 12V to the back, make sure the MAF sensor is providing a ground signal for the fuel pump relay, then I would disconnect the fuel lines and blow some compressed air through them, new fuel filter for sure, then the rails. you want to go eliminating all possible problems so you dont have to back track or jump from one component to an other.
