1.3rotary piston killer

hey guys i've had a prob with my 87 turboll i finaly was running great but suddenly losed power and then would not start and the battery would not keep a charge at least i thought come to find out that the wiring harness conecting to the grey main relay that controls all power flow ( i'm guessing ) two wires ended up burning up and did minor damage to 1 or 2 other wires its nothing serious but now the wires are bear i bought a new relay from a junk yard and i'm going to trail the wires back a foot until i don't see and more damaged wire and then properly splice the new wires on and put in the new relay . has anyone ealse had this problem or have any idea what could have caused this .



my car is an 87 turbo ll with all emissions removed even the vacume line web on top of the block air conditioning gone upgraded 91 turbo striaght back exhaust no cats with a fuel cut defender pully bushings

Probably a bare wire grounding out, Just recheck all burnt wires and replace. No need to add an Extra relay..
