I want to replace my old cat and manifold piping for my 7. I've been looking around and Racing Beat seems to have what i want. I'm looking at the Catalytic Converter Replacement Pipe with Presilencer. Now it says that i have remove the air control and check valve and the air pump. Is this an easy removal and cover job or should i have someone who knows what they are doing do it. Also, does anyone know if the old O2 sensor on my car right now will hook up easy or do i need to have some modification done. Thanks.

The whole thing is easy and you don't need to remove your O2 sensor. The O2 sensor stays in your stock exhaust man and the pipe connects to that with two bolts you can easily reach right next to the oil pan. Removing the ACV is simple and they should give you a block off plate with the kit that you will bolt on with a little RTV to help it seal.

sure.. one other thing if you're going to pull the air pump, you should pick up one of the dual alternator pulleys (check the nopistons store). That'll eliminate any water pump slippage.
