Has anyone swapped a FD gen engine into a FC??

yup, the problem is its still $650ish, and sometimes they wig out for no reason

Clutch!! I am keeping my TII tranny in the car.



I know I will need a stronger clutch. Can I use a FC clutch with a FD flywheel??



BTW - Every custom piece I make will be blueprinted and made in three's. I will be marketing a FD conversion when I am done with this.

My friend used the FC flywheel, but he had to grind part of the FD rear housing off. an 89-91 flywheel can be used with the FD motor, but the 87-88 can't.

I want to keep the FD flywheel and use a FC clutch and tranny.





I have both laying around the shop I'll look tomarrow.

It should work, but I doubt that anybody has tried it.
