wuts up guys, i was driving the other day cruising perfectly fine until i noticed smoke coming from my gear shift inside my car, i pulled over and i must have been losing tranny fluid atleast a quart a second..... not i've come to the conclusion that my rear tranny seal is busted because the fluid is running out from that area, i understand i have to drop the exhaust and take out the driveshaft but me and tranny's dont get along to well.....has anyone ever done the seal??? is it simple??....should i replace the seal or the whole sleave??....

easy job. drop exhaust. disconnect driveshaft in the rear. pull it out and change the seal. dont forget to drain whats left of the fluid and add new. check around while the cars apart to make sure thats where its leaking from. i have seen a couple n/a tranny cases crack.
