Well this is the weekend I was hoping to start my car. I connected my haltech E6K and when through it all. After a bad starter which I replaced I was finally able to crank it.... But I have no gas.. The fuel pump is working, I can hear it and I have pressure @ the pump, but nothing at the engine.

Clogged line?

Okay so I pulled both ends and blew 80 PSI of air through it. I could hear the air at the other end, so why no fuel.

Damn so I though MAYBE I wired the pump backwards, so I flipped the wires @ the pump, still nothing. (The Haltech is out of the loop at this point as I have the pump disconnected to I can directly apply voltage to the pump.

Anyway have any ideas?

I start bright and early tomorrow....

This is a 88' RX7 13B N/A in a Sidekick. I am using the FACTORY RX7 pump, which I replaced the Suzuki one in the tank, It went right in and looked like an exact replacement for the Suzuki pump.

Like I said I have pressure @ the filter which at the rear of the vehicle, but nothing at the engine

Are you sure that the fuel lines at the rails are hooked up properly?

Yes, Fuel comes in the from of the rail and exits @ the rear. I removed the front (diapham thing) and shot some compressed air down the line all the way to the rear. I can get compresser air down it but no fuel out.

If I can't figure out WHY I can't get fuel through this line I will just run new line tomorrow.

The line is the factory Suzuki line and since I never drove the vehicle before the swap I don't know what could have been in there.

But like I said I have pressure at the rear.... I know this is going to be something simple (I hope).

Just to make sure, this is how everything should be hooked up on a stock motor using an in-tank pump:

From the pump you go to the fuel line to the motor and then to the fuel filter. From the fuel filter you go to the primary rail, which then goes to the secondary rail. Then fuel passes through the pressure regulator and into the fuel return line, back to the tank.

You got it. I had the hoses on backwards. Fuel got IN @ the pulsedamper and out @ the regulator (the one with the vacumm hose).

So I got it STARTED!!! WOW

But I have an injector with a bad o-ring and it is leaking. So I ordered a injector reseal kit, which will be in tomorrow.

I noticed my A/F gauge wasn't working, but everything else, including my tach is.

Problem is it will NOT idle.

I didn't want to mess with it too much with that bad o-ring, But it sounds GREAT above 3K, The lowest it would run is about 1200 RPM without stalling. I'm thinking vacumm leak?

It's ALSO LOUD!!!

I have the HEADER to a presilencer to 1 TURBO WALKER Muffler. I want to add a SuperTrapp at the rear, but I need to take it to a muffer shop for them to do the over the axle thing, Problem is... There's NO-CAT, so I don't think they will touch it.

I've also got to bleed my clutch (which I knew). But after nearly 18 months it fires up.

THANKS for your help.

Yes, it sounds like a vacuum leak.

Well I didn't start it today (I figured I would give the neighbors a break)...

I redid my clutch linkage, you see the Suzuki is normally a cable operated vehicle. I mounted the Mazda master cylinder and didn't quite get the clutch linkage right the first time. It seemed sloppy. So I removed my clutch pedal and fired up the welder.... Much better.

I replaced a leaking injector seal today also.

Next weekend more fun.
