Would this differential be a direct swap into my 88 SE (just the diff)??

If it is a turbo model, NO! Pinion Flange diameter is diferent. You need him to measure the diameter of the pinion flange to see if it is a turbo or NA diff

no thanks, I already have 2 sets of wheels, suspension work done and brake parts waiting to go on for the 4 lug. I should have done the 5 lug conversion when I got the car but I didn't intend to race it back then.
