Greddy Intercoolers?

I'm just wondering if there is any performance or any difference at all between the greddy two row r-spec and v-spec intercoolers. I am bout to purchase one and just wanna know what'd be the best choice.

The Vspec have an inner micro grove design that allows more flow than cooling so it would work better on a stock turbo running a little bit more psi. The Rspec has an inner fin design that allows better cooling idealy for higher boost. What 1revvin said also applies.

Lil info on these GReddy kits. The 24Vspec is best at around 15psi or less and will fit up directly with your stock T2 turbo setup. The 24RSpec is the same core but made to be used with the GReddy upgrade turbo kit for our cars...They make a 32Vspec and a 32Rspec setup as well that use a better/bigger % core...but will not bolt directly up and fit right up w/ a stock turbo....
I believe it was two years ago or so that GReddy introduced their V-SPL cores..which uses an internal fin design = better cooling and better power. This is the kit I am currently using.
If your running a stock turbo and don't want to go too crazy later on, just get the 24Vspec or VSPL kit..both fit up w/ stock turbo setup and are very good kits. If you plan to go all out..get the thicker 3 or 4 row setups and make it work w/ ur current setup until ur ready to updgrade..

Boy, lots of wrong info...
V-spec core was designed for stock turbos who complain about the pressure drop but still wanted the BIG FMIC look.
The R-spec core is a more efficient heat exchanger, but the denser inner fins cause a significant pressure drop using small (i.e. stock) turbos.
If you can afford it, the R-spec is the better IC, period.
The V-spec is a compromise design.

This is the "inside" information that GReddy doesn't want you to know.
If you have any clue on intercooler design, you'll understand where I'm coming from. Spearco used to have a pretty good booklet on this, but I don't know if they still offer it.
Any book covering basic heat exchanger theory will also cover this.
