Thumbs down

I got rearended about 2 hours ago .... some women in a gmc truck plowed into the back of me while I was sitting at a stop sign... she had to have been doing atleast 25-30 and she never hit the brakes.... the front of her truck was smashed in bad, and the only damage I have on my car is a dent below the spoiler on the left side and the spoiler is split and ripped in a few places, and my bumper is cracked.... as far as I can tell nothing else was damaged, but I'm going to check it out really closely tommorow in the daylight.... I'm going to go right now and put up pics to it on my website I'm working on and I'll post the address here...

just to give u an idea of how hard she hit me, my stereo and my EQ flew out of my dash...and they were pretty smuggly fit in there....

I know that if I got rearended, my back would just be killing me. Bad enough that I'd get enough $ for a FD.

Well that sucks, but at least it was her fault. I'd check around your wheel wells for creases in the quarted panel. Look on the bright side though, the back half of your car will get a paint job, and you might get some $ for your pain.

I got rearended in my 86 once. I was turning left and at a dead stop when a chick smacked me doing about 25 mph. I had just let off the brake and was beginning to let off on the clutch so when she hit I was pushed into the parking lot. Man I was pissed and by the feel of the impact I thought there was going to be fucked up damage. When I got out and looked I was surprised as hell... the rear bumper was still straight and there was only some black marks left from her bumper. He bumper was fucked, I think she was driving a dodge omni or some **** (looked like a VW rabbit). It was all twisted and fucked up. We didn't contact the police because we were still in high school so she was supposed to pay me the 600 bucks that was estimated to fix it. She paid me 400 over about a years time but thats it. Oh well, it didn't take much to get the black marks off and make it look as good as new.

did you say your tach and lights arent working i may be able to tell you how to fix the tach on the negative side of your trailing coil there will be a nut if it is loose tighten it if it is tight just leave it alone go inside the car and hit the dash a couple times if the truck that hit you didnt make it work well good luck

I went out and looked over the car pretty good, the only damage that was done was the damage in the pictures... but as far as the insurance company is concerned a few of my other problems are now caused by the wreck also... like my differential mount that was out is now cuz of that, and maybe a few other things i might try to pull off...we'll see how it goes

well, I called her insurance company to get my claim rolling and guess what... the stupid ****ing B**** didn't have insurance on 6/3/02... she reluctantly renewed her insurance on 6/4 though.... how nice of her....

ya know, owning an Rx7 can be so hard at times, but it's always been worth it....
