sorry to thread jack lol. rob thanx for the advice i didnt see ur post til now. at the moment i have it off and is in the back of the car so i can bring it to work so the body guy can take a look at it. will definatly take ur advice about boltin it up. today i had a friend with me and was having him hold it for me but was frustating b/c like u said the other side was still flexing also knocked the bolt out of the right side and ahd i alingned alittle bit better then it was in the pix. thanx every one ill keep u guys posted

Yeah I stopped screwing with hoods. I really don't see why I would want to make something that big as my first project back in the days. I always seem to bite off more than I can chew. But I have made a few since that were much better, but still have stopped until I make a totally different design. I am going to change my focus and make some smaller, simpler, products that are easier to make and ship.



Also James, here is how I would mount the thing. I would hold it in my hand, line up the headlights first just so the metal brackets are above the radiator support then I would slide it down and let the part that wraps around the fender hold everything in place. At this point it sits a little high where it meets the fender, and that is when you bolt the part under the hood, then move the bolt into the fender in place. Oh well, the bodyshop will get her on right and plus that crack is there by the fender so it wont hold anything in place now.

Why start a new thread when i already have one? mounted the rear bumper from the kit today to see haow the fitment was and surprisingly it wasnt too bad alittle wavy but nothing too big.

here the pix btw in the one the exhaust is bent i know
