Hey guys I got a wolf3d wired up in my car. I've only had it running for about a week and last night it got real cold. Its comming up as -1 C on my wolf3d for coolant temp. Yesterday I had it running perfect at idle, pulling about 55kPa vacuum. Then today I go and try to start the car and nope, almost starts but doesnt. I start messing with the coolant temp compansion values and get it running by holding the gas pedal. I had it at about 1500rpms by holding the gas and it sounded like ****, was also making a ticking noise.... So I look at my vacuum and its only at 20kPa...

So after about 3 min running by holding the gas the car dies. I go to start it again and nothing wont even try. By then the coolant temp was upto about 22 C. While cranking I was only pulling in 2-3kPa vacuum, but just yesterday it was pulling 20kPa while doing the same thing.

No I didnt blow the engine yesterday, because I started it up lastnight and let it idle for like a min and shut it off... It started great and held idle perfect.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

well if temperature is the only variant i'd say it'd have to be the engine temp compensation. are you using the hand controller to adjust your compensating? is it possible that you were adjusting in the wrong direction? low vaccum makes me think it's not getting enough fuel.

No, I was using a laptop.. According to my LM1 while I was iding it was around 14.0 AFR. Then I started to richen up the fuel table cell I was running in and dropped it down to 12AFR, but the idle didnt improve.

i've found my best idle to be around 12:1 afr. is it possible you have some type of vaccum leak?

You know I dont think so, but I will check tomorrow. I have my BOV and my MAP to the ECU running through a T connector off the same nipple on the UIM. Maybe my BOV is leaking for some odd reason?
