Ive been dealing with this problem for quite some time now and i cant figure out what the hell it is. When you start the car it does it usual run up to ~3k and sit there for a minute then drops down. The problem is it only runs down to about around 1.5. Ive got the idle controller in the avc set as low as i can get it to go and it still idles way high most of the time. Now sometimes if i put it in fourth and feather the cluth, bringing the engine speed down under 1k and then let off of the clutch it will sit there and act like its idling normally. Sometimes with the a/c on it will end up idling way low, around 500 perhaps. I think the only other thing of note is that the electrical line to my acv isnt hooked up, as one of the wires broke off right at the connector and im too lazy to hook it back up. However, that was somewhat recent and its been doing it for a time before then. I dunno, i cant figure it out.

just read that ur car is for sale. what kinda ecu are you using? might help pick the problem out
