I own a 87 n/a and it has ran fine since i got it. but all out of nowhere the car starts hesitating, bad acceleration, also my idle has gone south. i wasnt driving it wehen it happend i was away and now i need to fix it. i think it could be a fuel filter or maybe a tune up. any help? by the way i know the motor is no blown i came rave it when the car is in neutral but once it under a load it starts being a spoiled brat.

When your driving it at any RPM and your just lightly on the gas pedal does the motor feel like it hops/skips/slips kinda?

basically it can happen at any rpm. if i tread lightly on the pedal ill be fine but i really cant get anywhere above 3000. at first i thought it it could the 3800 bs which my car has but it's more of a hic-up than i complete bog-out . but back to my point . light pedal and i can go around town and get some smokes and a coffee but any WOT or even half WOT she starts spitting and rocking . just a lose of pwoer and torque . its horrible.

PS. if i leave the car in neutral and give full pedal it sounds and runs like a champ. once it's roll it goes to crap!

could it be time for that ls1 swap ? haha

Vac line to load/boost sensor. Its the thingy on the car's right side front shock tower. Could be a bad connector on the airflow sensor also.

good luck!
