When I first did my car I changed EVERYTHING because I wanted everything from my 91 in the 88 body. B)

So if you sell your car, are you going too sell it as a 91, or 88? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif
I'd probably never sell the car complete. If I can't have it nobody can. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I hope this helps everyboby out on this wiring harness. I am doing a 91 T2 conversion on my 88 NA. I knew this was going to be a pain in the azz from the beginning, but... it will be a bad mofo when its done. I have already pulled the wiring harness out of the 88, the is no, none, nada wiring left in the car. There are 4 parts to the wiring harness...

PART #1- This is found on the passenger side of the car. It runs from all the engine sensors/components to the ECU. It runs from the engine to the ECU through the firewall. You dont need to pull the dash to get this one. If you are doing a Zankei-(86-88) to Kokei(89-91) A lot of things are different so it might be safe to change every part to the wiring.

PART #2- This runs from the front of the car (ie: horn, headlights, relays) to the CPU located under the driver-side kick panel and over to the ECU area to the AC/heater assy's. I had to take the dash out to pull this one.

PART #3- This runs from the CPU under the driver-side kick panel to the rear of the car(ie: tail-lights, fuel pump)

PART #4- This runs from the battery to the starter . I havent pulled this one yet, so this is all I can tell you about this one.

I hope this helps you guys out. By the way, if you are interested in doing a turbo conversion to your NA, I know where you can get front clips(1/2 cut cars) from Japan. It will cost ya about 3500, but you get a low-mileage motor and tranny and everything needed for the conversion, like the wiring harness, plus whatever aftermarket stuff the car has on it.. email me at brad_johnson@hotmail.com and I will send you the phone # of the only people who can find these for you....

If you pull it out inside the car then you can pull both the motor and harness out together.
